Yes. We move master data, balances as at the cutover date and open documents. History is moved selectively, usually one or two years. We recommend keeping the old system in read-only mode for at least six months.

Two to six weeks. The longest part is cleaning up master data, and that work is mostly done by your team. The load itself takes one or two days and is scheduled for a weekend.
